A home invasion on the 200 block of North Thayer Street near Catherine Street was reported to the University of Michigan Division of Public Safety and Security Friday morning, according to a crime alert sent by DPSS Saturday morning.
The crime alert details a home invasion occuring Friday near 7:00 am. According to the alert, the resident awoke to the sound of knocking on his bedroom door. When he opened the door, he saw another male holding his wallet. The suspect returned the wallet but the resident noticed money had been taken.
The suspect was last seen heading northbound on Thayer. Anyone with further information is encouraged to contact DPSS. As of Saturday morning, no more information about the suspect is known.
