A home invasion occurred off campus Saturday, February 2nd, on the 500 block of S. Ashley Street at approximately 8 p.m.
According to the Ann Arbor Police Department, the suspect is a male age 20-30, and between 5’10 and 6’ with an average build. He was last seen wearing a dark coat and a dark winter cap.
AAPD said the suspect entered the home through a backdoor which was left unlocked. He took a backpack. The resident saw the intruder. As a result, the suspect dropped the backpack and left the residence running.
The suspect was last seen going eastbound on Jefferson Street.
AAPD did not respond to requests for comment at the time of publication.
