Graduate Student Instructor Joshua Kam says he was terminated early from his post at the University of Michigan’s Center for Southeast Asian Studies (CSEAS) for posting solidarity for victims of anti-Asian hate on the Center’s official Twitter account, which he says is in accordance with his job duties. Additionally, former Masters Candidate Cassady Schrock shares a story about how she says she encountered racism while taking classes as part of her degree in the School of Social Work in 2016.
