Welcome to She Hit It First: a limited series podcast about groundbreaking women from The University of Michigan. This is a cross collaborative initiative by The Michigan Daily and What the F in celebration of Women’s history month.Title IX changed the game, literally. This episode, we’re shifting our focus to women in athletics at the University. Women’s varsity sports are a massive enterprise at U-M. This was certainly not always the case.
