My hometown’s claim to minor league photo-op fame is a mile-long stretch of buildings covered top to bottom in 1.2 million Christmas lights, known as the “Big Bright Light Show.” Even during a pandemic, a steady stream of locals and visitors walk through the downtown every night to admire the twinkling lights and almost always stop to pose for a photo.
