Rapper and comedian Lil Dicky and Chicago rapper Vic Mensa took over Hill Auditorium Saturday night with back-to-back sets. While the two performances were very different from each other, they both provided high energy, outstanding performances. Lil Dicky played first, with a set filled with memorable events from bringing out Jim Harbaugh to sing the national anthem to grinding on a female audience member with his pants off.
Vic Mensa’s set, on the other hand, was dark, edgy, and complemented by his social commentary that inspired many of his songs. This was all capped off by an intense, adrenaline filled performance of his hit song “U Mad” which ended the evening on a very high note.
