Detroit-based singer-songwriter Jax Anderson, known by her stagename Flint Eastwood, brought the Blind Pig in Ann Arbor to life on Thursday night with her refreshingly upbeat pop ballads. Her set featured hits from her new album, “Small Victories.” Anderson filled the stage with a contagious energy as she proclaimed her love and pride for Detroit. Equally lively Detroit- and Ann Arbor-based bands — The Landmarks, Air is the Arche and Valley Hush — accompanied the band for a night of unique indie and pop alternative tunes. The bands will continue on their tour throughout Michigan into early 2016.
