On June 2, protesters marched peacefully through Chicago’s North Side to protest the police killings of Black Americans. The march began at Wrigley Field, home of the Chicago Cubs, and continued south on Clark Street through the Lakeview and Lincoln Park neighborhoods. It wasn’t just people protesting–sports teams and businesses passed along the route spoke out as well. The marquee outside of Wrigley Field read ‘End Racism’; The Weiner’s Circle, known for serving up char dogs as well as insults, made their message clear.
