The racism plaguing Mizzou seems very far away, doesn’t it? I mean, it’s in the South. Those things just happen there, right? Wrong. Very wrong.

#BBUM campaign covering the posting wall with student experiences

Today marks the second anniversary of the launch of the #BBUM Twitter campaign. The hashtag and its acronym, which stands for Being Black at the University of Michigan, was used during one of the early precursors to the recent protests that are occurring across the nation.
