Chaquile McKinney, the man accused of hitting a woman he did not know over the head with a chair last month, appeared in a probable cause conference Feb. 21 in Pittsfield Township. The victim needed medical attention and received multiple stitches.

McKinney has been charged with assault with a dangerous weapon and assault with intent to do great bodily harm, according to MLive.

According to MLive, McKinney, who is believed to be homeless, asked to see a video of the Starbucks attack during the conference.

“I didn’t even know when this happened,” McKinney said. “I am being bullied.”

McKinney has previously been convicted of multiple crimes including attempting to resist and obstruct a police officer.

His competency hearing is scheduled for March 28.
