According to Otsego county court records, a fourth member of the Sigma Alpha Mu fraternity plead guilty on July 9 to vandalism of Treetops Resort in January.
Recent business alum Jesse Krumholz’s plea agreement is a misdemeanor charge of malicious destruction of a building less than $200.
Krumholz’s sentencing date is scheduled for September 17.
News of Krumholz’s decision to plead guilty comes in light of three of his fellow fraternity brothers’ decision to do the same.
Recent LSA alum Mathew Vlasic plead guilty to a similar misdemeanor charge in June. Former SAM chapter president Zachary Levin and Joshua Kaplan, both rising business juniors, were charged with drug and/or alcohol consumption by minors, a charge which could result in either imprisonment of 30 days a fine of less than $1,000, or both.Both of their June court dates were postponed to Aug. 13.
The total restitution sought by Treetops includes $230,000 for damages, an additional $200,000 in lost revenue as well as court fees.
