Fans looking to take a picture of the iconic Michigan Stadium video boards might have their view blocked by a noodle this season.
Directly underneath the north scoreboard entrance is a giant orange noodle, with the inscription "you know you love it."
These noodles are part of a campaign from Kraft Macaroni and Cheese, and are found across the country. The noodles are 20 feet long and nine feet high.
The athletic department has long prided itself on not having any visible advertisements inside the stadium, but in recent years, some ads have been added to the concourses and other places around the stadium.
Now, the branding has crept into pictures of the legendary Big House.
Friday afternoon, the Michigan football program's Twitter account provided some more clarity on the noodle situation, by tweeting "Love it or hate it, the "Noodle" was ONLY inside Michigan Stadium as part of the inaugural W.O.W. Friday (i.e. Gameday Destination). #GoBlue"
W.O.W. Friday is a new pre-game experience that allows fans to explore select areas of Michigan Stadium and tour Crisler Center on Fridays before home games.
