Pretty recently, I decided to rush Epsilon Eta. I was attracted to it because it required passion and commitment to a cause that I cared about so I was willing to do something I'd never done, rush, in the hopes that it would make me a better professional in my future field and a better, more environmentally conscious person.

Camp Kesem is a non-profit organization that provides a free summer camp for kids affected by a parent’s cancer. I’ve never encountered a more positive, welcoming and loving environment, and I’m proud to spread the CK magic. At Camp Kesem, our hands get dirty a lot, and whether it’s from working with tye dye or throwing paint, dirty hands mean everyone just did something fun.

"I’m a sophomore so it’s not like everything’s new… My job for the summer had a super good community so I’m still not adjusting to having that."

“On campus I am involved with Alpha Phi Omega, a coed service fraternity. I joined APO as a freshman after randomly talking to someone in a dining hall, and my friends and I all joined that semester. It has been an amazing experience to meet other students passionate about service, and I've had experiences I never would have had otherwise.”

Members of the Bernie Sanders rally stand on the stage and sing "This Land" at the end of the rally on March 7 in the Crisler Center in Ann Arbor.

On Monday March 7, I photographed the Bernie Sanders rally held in the Crisler Center. It was a unique experience when I saw the court covered in carpet squares to house Bernie supporters of all ages. JR JR and Nate Ruess of fun. held a concert before the Presidential Candidate gave his speech. Before he began his set, Nate Ruess said that this performance was his favorite to date because it was for a political candidate that he actually believed in.
