It’s personal, confessing to which drinking establishment to which you tether time and esteem. It reveals something about who you are, or rather, how you want to see yourself.

It’s also a secret bar in Ann Arbor’s Old West Side, accessed through an unmarked door on Huron Street. Though it's mostly publicized through word of mouth, the elusive nature of the place isn’t an obstacle in attracting clientele. On a Wednesday night, the bartender is shaking drinks like maracas for a full house.

At its final meeting of the fall semester, Central Student Government passed a resolution on mental health awareness and discussed a new policy for bystander intervention training.

The resolution called for allocating $5,000 to create T-shirts representing Project Semicolon – a national organization that aims to spread awareness about mental health. It was expedited to be introduced and voted on during Tuesday’s meeting.

A woman’s face was cut by an unknown assailant Tuesday afternoon as she was walking on Liberty Street, according to the Ann Arbor Police Department.

The woman, who is in her early 20’s, said she was walking down the street wearing headphones and was unaware if her attacker addressed her before cutting her face.
