A Michigan grassroots organization, Voters Not Politicians, is petitioning to end gerrymandering in the state through a constitutional amendment to appear on the 2018 November ballot. The amendment, if passed, would put an independent citizens’ redistricting commission in place to redraw state legislative and congressional districts.

The team, led by Stephen Maldonado, associate professor of chemistry, invented a more environmentally-friendly and cheaper method to create semiconductor films.

On Tuesday night, an alt-right group took credit for placing stickers depicting anti-Semitic imagery on Black Lives Matter posters.

The group has white supremacist sentiments posted on their Twitter account.

Students began taking down additional white supremacist posters and anti-Semitic stickers after receiving texts from others informing them of their presence on the West Hall arch and a posting board by CC Little.
