The Michigan wrestling squad has its own Super Bowl weekend. The 13th-ranked Wolverines prepare for their biggest weekend of the year, as they travel to Madison to face No. 6 Wisconsin on Friday before welcoming No. 3 Penn State to Ann Arbor on Sunday.

It’s nearly unheard of for three brothers to compete on one team at such a high level, but it’s even more unusual that this family can even utter the words, “Go Blue.” Craig and Susan are graduates of Ohio State, where Craig wrestled in the mid-1980s — even Justin and Brandon grew up diehard Buckeye fans.

Northwestern’s 11th-ranked Andrew Nadhir stepped to the mats to face Grajales with the chance to give the Wildcats a commanding lead. But by the time the clock struck zero, the young Wolverine had captured the upset — and the momentum — propelling No. 11 Michigan (2-0 Big Ten, 7-2 overall) to an eventual victory Friday night, 22-12.
