Anderson has high hopes for his water polo team

With the 2012 conference season underway for the Michigan women’s water polo team, coach Matt Anderson has had one goal in mind.
“Our goal is to always win the Eastern Conference Regional Tournament,” Anderson said. “Last year, we were (disappointed) because we were the number one seed and lost to the number three seed Indiana.”

A whistle blew and a mad dash ensued toward the middle of the pool. The first swimmer to reach the ball tipped it to a teammate, and within seconds a goal was scored. Moments later another followed, putting the Michigan water polo team up 2-0 over Colorado State.
