Erwin leads Michigan to perfect 4-0 start

Michigan (4-0 overall) found help all over the court, but it was the play of Tiger Invitational MVP junior outside hitter Lexi Erwin that led the way. Erwin averaged 5.87 kills per set and a .443 hitting average.

Young volleyball squad prepares for season

Expectations are high for the Michigan volleyball team as it enters the 2012 season ranked No. 23 in the American Volleyball Coaches Association preseason poll. Still, six other conference foes are ranked within the top-25, including No. 3 Penn State and No. 4 Nebraska.

On Friday, the Michigan women’s volleyball team’s fan boat ran out of juice on the Florida bayou. Sinking ever deeper into the murky swamp brush of the Stephen C.
