With the dual score tied at three, the only athletes left on the courts were Michigan sophomore Brooke Bolender and Aggie Nazari Urbina. In order for Michigan win a third consecutive bid to the NCAA Sweet 16, Bolender would have to dig deep in the third set to pull out a victory against her stiff competition.
