The Michigan women’s rowing team was swept by Ohio State on a chilly Saturday morning in Columbus.
The Wolverines competed in three heats with four pieces each, and the Buckeyes swept the entire event — all races were 4,000 meters with an open-stroke rate.

BELLEVILLE, Mich. — The Michigan women’s rowing team competed in its season opener against Michigan State and Notre Dame at Belleville Lake on Sunday morning. Though the fall season isn’t nearly as important as the spring season, the squad was still enthusiastic and ready to prove its dominance on the water.
