Basketball Media Day notebook: Sims likely to play down low this season

Junior DeShawn Sims is ready for a new role. While playing on the perimeter most of last season, Sims struggled finishing drives and making layups. This year, he will likely replace forward Ekpe Udoh, who transferred to Baylor.

Students reluctant to buy basketball season tickets

In 2003, an anonymous donor paid for free student tickets for the entire bleacher section of Crisler Arena.
More than 1,907 students ordered season tickets for men's basketball that year. The following season, the last year of the anonymous donor, 2,088 ordered tickets.

Does Udoh leaving spell doom for Beilein era?
