ATLANTA — Just 40 more minutes remain of the college basketball season.
Michigan (12-6 Big Ten, 31-7 overall) and Louisville (14-4 Big East, 34-5) face off in the National Championship game on Monday night, and unlike the last few opponents, each team has high praises and respect for one another in their respective NCAA Tournament runs.

ATLANTA — After the Michigan men’s basketball suffered a devastating loss to Penn State in late February, the team had a players-only meeting. It was a gut-check of a loss, one that made the public question the validity of the Wolverines’ perceived talent.

Just one game stands between Michigan and the National Championship. The Wolverines hung on in a nail-biter that came down to a defensive stop in final seconds, but when the clocks read zero, it was Michigan who prevailed — 61-56.
