The No. 1 Michigan men's lacrosse team struggled out of the gate in its first three games of the season. The team made it a focal point this week during practice to reverse that trend.
And Michigan did just that Friday. The Wolverines rode a seven-goal outburst in the first quarter en route to 22-10 drubbing over No. 13 Simon Fraser, in front of a home crowd of 1,215 fans.

The Michigan men's club lacrosse team is preparing to play its third straight ranked opponent when it takes on No. 13 Simon Fraser tonight at the Oosterbaan Fieldhouse. The Wolverines will be looking to win their MCLA-record 44th straight game, the final game of their self-declared mini-tournament.

The Michigan men's lacrosse team starts its regular season with its longest road trip of the season – a 10-day, three-game trip to Arizona and Utah. And they leave today.

The Wolverines were cruising to an easy victory over Division III Ohio Wesleyan with a 10-2 lead going into the fourth quarter Friday at Oosterbaan Fieldhouse. But after a series of four Michigan penalties in a span of less than six minutes, the Wolverines gave up seven straight goals before scoring two of their own and winning 12-9.

Up against its second varsity program – Division III Wittenberg University – the Michigan men's club varsity lacrosse team fought through multiple injuries to pull out a gritty 10-5 win on Saturday night.

After beating Chapman University 12-11 in Denver last weekend for the MCLA National Championship, the Michigan club lacrosse team achieved perfection for the second straight year. The team's winning streak has extended over 40 consecutive games en route to back-to-back national titles.
