Lacrosse comes close against Fairfield, but remains winless

Despite turning in one of its best performances of the season, the Michigan men’s lacrosse team is still winless. The Wolverines (0-7) fell to Fairfield on Thursday evening in Connecticut, 10-8, in one of Michigan’s most competitive contests of the season.

Michigan still searching for first win

Wednesday night provided an opportunity for two fledgling programs, Michigan (0-4, 0-1 ECAC) and High Point University (1-5), to capture a win early into their struggling seasons. The Panthers, playing their inaugural season of lacrosse, had defeated only one opponent prior to the game, Towson, in a 9-7 victory.
