Looking to rebound from a loss to No. 7 Connecticut last weekend, the No. 16 Michigan field hockey team rode a strong second-half performance to a win over St. Louis on Saturday afternoon.
The Wolverines were led by a three-goal performance by junior forward Rachael Mack to beat the visiting Billikens, 6-2, in Ann Arbor.

After winning Friday’s game against No. 21 Albany in New York’s capital in overtime, the No. 15 Michigan field hockey team sought to capitalize on that momentum against No. 7 Connecticut on Saturday. But it wasn’t to be.
The Wolverines (3-3) fell, 2-1, to the Huskies (4-0) after failing to shut out their opponent in the second half once again.

It took sudden-death overtime, but the No. 15 Michigan women’s field hockey team pulled out its third-straight victory on Friday afternoon, defeating No. 21 Albany, 2-1, at Great Danes’ Alumni Turf Field in Albany, N.Y.

Liesl Morris ended the No. 10 Michigan field hockey team’s 2-0 shutout against Maine hungry. She’s hungry for more Wolverine victories, but also for a little bit of Cuban food as well. Because the senior captain, who tallied her first collegiate goal on Sunday afternoon has a little wager going with the rest of the team.
