Scout.com is reporting that the Michigan football team is no longer pursuing former Duke point guard Greg Paulus.

On the Dan Patrick radio show on Thursday, Paulus said he had an opportunity to compete at the quarterback position at Michigan. He said he spent Tuesday around the Wolverines and liked getting to know Michigan coach Rich Rodriguez.

Early enrollee Tate Forcier, incoming freshman Denard Robinson and redshirt junior Nick Sheridan will compete for the starting spot at quarterback this fall.
