The Michigan men’s golf team commenced the spring season with the Big Ten Match Play Championship this past weekend, where it finished seventh by defeating Purdue on Saturday evening.

After last week’s tough defeat against California in Berkeley, the Michigan men’s tennis team enjoyed the comforts of home this weekend. The Wolverines hosted Princeton on Friday and Wake Forest on Sunday and won both matches convincingly.

The Michigan men’s tennis team was one singles victory from a championship. Instead, it dropped its first match of the 2013 dual-match season.
The Wolverines traveled to Berkeley, to play in the ITA Kick-Off Weekend, where they dropped the championship match to California, 4-3.

The Michigan women’s soccer team’s seniors hoped to go out with a bang, but instead left the field with heartbreak. Seniors Haley Kopmeyer, Clare Stachel and Emily Jaffe hoped the leave the U-M Soccer Complex victorious once again, but on this senior night, the 3-2 loss to Illinois proved it was not meant to be.
