After the Wolverines clinched the series victory on Saturday against Purdue, a series sweep on Sunday’s senior day would have paid dividends in clinching a spot in the Big Ten Tournament in two weeks. Instead, Michigan (12-9 Big Ten, 27-23 overall) ultimately fell 12-9, missing a prime opportunity for a sweep.

Michigan (10-8 Big Ten, 24-21 overall) resumed playing a postponed Apr. 17 game against Eastern Michigan on Tuesday. Tuesday’s contest picked up in the bottom of the third inning with the Eagles (9-12 MAC, 21-24) leading, 4-1, and the Wolverines were eventually throttled, 13-4.

On Wednesday, April 24, in the Michigan baseball team’s 15-10 loss to Eastern Michigan, Biondi was never caught stealing. He went 6-for-6 in stolen base attempts, setting a new Big Ten record for most stolen bases in a single game.
