Driesenga, Speierman win four in NFCA Classic

For a Michigan softball team that has already showcased some formidable offensive talent, this weekend at the NFCA Leadoff Classic was all about flexing pitching muscles. The 15th-ranked Wolverines went 4-1 in the tournament despite scoring only one more run in five games (26) than they had last weekend (25) in four.
Wolverines head back to Florida for FAU Kickoff Classic

By the time the weekend is over, the No. 14 Michigan softball team will have made two trips to Florida, logged 18 hours of flight time, taken on eight opponents and played in three doubleheaders in just nine days. Fresh off a 3-1 record during the first weekend of competition of the season, the Wolverines return to the Sunshine State this weekend.

Having made history Saturday against No. 2 Stanford in the Elite Eight in four sets, the Michigan volleyball team will be back in Louisville, studying up for its next big test in No. 3 Texas.
Wolverines showcase new talent at Hawkeye Invitational

In a repeat win of the Hawkeye Invitational this weekend, No. 22 Michigan women’s swimming and diving team swam like it had something to prove. After three days in the pool, the Wolverines finished first out of 10 teams with 876.5 points to win the competition for the second straight year.
