Mike Kwiatkowski wasn’t supposed to make it this far. The fifth-year senior tight end admits that much himself. As a senior at Dakota High School in Macomb, Mich., Kwiatkowski was only recruited to play football by Division-II schools.

You can’t mention Venric Mark’s name to the Michigan football team without getting a compliment in return. Michigan coach Brady Hoke called the Northwestern running back “extremely shifty” and “quick.” Fifth-year senior cornerback J.T. Floyd called him “talented,” and defensive coordinator Greg Mattison noted “when he breaks, he breaks.”

Two days after he said that he thought senior quarterback Denard Robinson should recover from his nerve injury in time for this Saturday’s game at Minnesota, Michigan coach Brady Hoke reiterated that prognosis on Monday, saying Robinson “should be good to go” against the Golden Gophers.
