LIVE Blog: Michigan women's basketball looks to sweep Northwestern

The Michigan women's basketball team is at home tonight against Northwestern in their series finale. The last time these two teams met was two weeks ago in Evanston, where the Wolverines won, 58-48. In the Jan. 19 game, both teams opened the game on poor offensive possessions — Michigan shot 27 percent in the first half and the Wildcats turned the ball over 18 times. The Wolverines got the better of Northwestern in the second half, thanks to a 17-point effort by the bench led by junior forward Sam Arnold.
With a win tonight, Michigan would snap a two-game losing streak — the first time this season that the Wolverines have lost consecutive games.
