Michigan center fielder Ryan LaMarre named to third team preseason All-America team

Michigan junior center fielder Ryan LaMarre was named to Baseball America's third-team All American team Friday. LaMarre was also named a third team All-American by the National College Baseball Writers Association in December.
He was a second-team all Big Ten conference selection. LaMarre led the Wolverines in batting average (.344), RBI's (62), slugging percentage (.599) and runs scored (55). And he finished second on the team with 12 home runs.
LaMarre batted No. 3 in Michigan's batting order for the majority of the season and provided a power presence in the middle of the lineup as well as speed. He stole 13 bases in 18 attempts.
