Hi can you give me credit on those File photo of the 4 Eleven Lofts and the Courtyards that I took last year for the Daily....Thanks.
Krista Boyd
A previous Daily article was titled "If They Build It, Will They Come?" so I was surprised that this follow-up article did not include information on the vacancy rates in these new buildings. With still more high-end student housing projects being proposed for Ann Arbor (like The Moravian), it would be interesting to know if these three, already built, are half-empty or what. I know 411 Lofts has a sign that says "Move in Today!" Also, no mention of the progress of North Quad and how this higher-end dorm for upper-classmen may affect the market when it comes on line next year with 600 more beds in this same basic format. Has UM total enrollment gone up or down over the past several years?
Ann Arbor's east-west streets are numbered from Main Street. For this reason, 411 Lofts, at 411 East Washington, is FOUR blocks from Main Street, not TWO.
