Are you really a U of M graduate? First, learn to spell 'embarrassed.' Second, you are a Michigan alumnus. Alumni is plural. Good grief!

Excellent Michigan football will return. As much as I respect Carr, he apparently left the shelves bare. RR had a lot of inexperienced talent as well as questionable talent at QB. They will get good since the spread showed some real productivity those times when everyone was on the same page. Things go in cycles and this too will get better.

UM paid too much for Rodriguez, and I don't think he worth that.

Why don't try spend a little more for Nick Saban.

I know that it was RichRod's 1st year, new system, so on and so forth! But are we to believe that the team would have been so pathetic if Lloyd Carr was still here? In the current climate of College Athletics, you don't get 5 years any more to turn things around, so I think things had better improve in a hurry, or the AD may be conducting another job search!!

Rich Rod is a proven winner, I expect a strong turn around for next season. For now I can focus my passion on the Basketball team! Also you might find solace, like I do, in the fact that football is the only thing Ohio State will ever come close to Michigan against.

Dear Coach Rodriguez:
I am 46 years old. I was born on campus at UM when my father was a student at Michigan. I have watched Michigan football my whole life. While this season did not meet many of your expectations, there are MANY true Michigan fans across the country who love and support you, the players and this program. Thank you for coming to Michigan. Thank you for your willingness to coach our team. Thank you to the players, especially the seniors, for putting on your jerseys every game and working and sweating very hard to represent Michigan in the best way possible during your short time on that field. Today was be the last game of the season. No matter the outcome…GO BLUE!

Michigan football can change a lot in the coming years, and positively. Something more than this season and this loss to Ohio State would have to happen for it not to.

I am a Michigan fan trapped and living in Ohio. For 30 years I have always worn my Michigan garb, regardless of the remarks I got from the Buckeyes who cannot understand my allegiance to Michigan. And I still wear it, wore it today. Husband is a Buckeye. How do I explain this unbelievable team this year?? He thinks Rodriquesz should be fired. Michigan...what is the answer??? HELP

As an alumni I have attended numerous Michigan games over the years. I was taken back by the "intense fellowship" between Michigan players and coaches in Columbus today on the sidelines. It filtered throughout the stands.

Football is about entertainment and money, that I understand. But it's also about "the team" and the spirit of the game and mutual support. The final score is the bottom line...so what is new under the sun. Except for that score I am unsure of what took place on the sidelines. Intuitively, I do not see a bright light at the end of this football tunnel. Hopefully I am wrong.

I am embarassed to be a Michigan Alumni. I am embarassed at this school. The only thing worse than the Michigan economy is its football team.
