I was opposed to the hiring of Rich Rodriguez from the beginning and I have seen nothing to change my maind. In fact, I think both Rich Rodriguez and Bill martin should go. One coach from West Virginia University is more thqan enough, but at least the Big East is competitive in basketball. what can the Big Ten learn from the Big East in football? Why else did BC, VT, and Miami leave for the ACC?

I don't think the players quit, but I do think they were sddled with poor coaching as evidenced by the poor play calling in late stages of the game. I also wonder why so many players left the team with eligibility left,and not all to join the NFL. they must have known something about the new coach.

What was wrong with giving the job to Ron English or Al De Bord? They would not have lost to Toledo, Purdue, or Northwestern. the fact that my daughter;s alma mater syracuse beat Notre Dame in South Bend yesterday is more evidence that coach Rich is in over his head. Even Cam Cameron could have done more and the only experienced quarterback would not have left Ann Arbor.

Let's hope the baskeball team improves over last year.
