Shocking that this came from a Libertarian...the people who just want to be left alone because they already have everything. I'm tired of people saying, "the government is totally relaxed when it comes to spending other people's money." Look, the taxes have already been paid. Once you pay taxes, it is up to the goverment (via the people you voted for) to decide how to spend that money. I'm glad that we're using tax money to assist VITAL aspects of our economy like the financial and auto sectors rather than pissing them away on pork projects used to appease special interest groups. Why not spend tax money in areas where it will have the widest and most immediate impact. Its not like you're paying MORE tax to cover the bailout. As a Libertarian, dare I ask who you would support as a presidential candidate?
