Breakdown:

- Threet has arm strength and potential, he should start with C Brown as the 2nd string, followed by Cone. Sheridan is not B10 QB material.

- We have to wait until Miami on Saturday before making a judgment on our defense. Obi Ezeh is awesome, we know D Warren is unbelievably good based on last year, but other than that who stands out? I like this new style: attack and non-scheme, but our coverage is terrible. I mean so terrible that I wonder if some of our secondary had vision problems form the sun nor something. Not a few yards off of the receivers, but like TEN yards of their men.

- Hemingway has demonstrated an ability to potentially bring our offense to a new level. Teams have now been put on warning: you cannot leave this kid even for a 1/10 of a second or he will burn you. So use it to your advantage! Decoys, deep fades and killer routes to either get him open or loosen up the secondary and give the ball to McGuffie (that fumble wasn't his fault btw.)

- Carlos Brown needs to be given an opportunity to play QB for three downs. We have yet to see his arm, can he throw? I'm assuming he can't - but all that means then is let's run a dual QB system with Threet and eliminate Sheridan.

- I'd hold off on the trick plays now (like the O line sitting still and RB's picking the snap on the fly). Let's get a few clean handoffs down and a few pitches and then pursue the next level stuff.

All in all, it is still too early to totally gauge our team - Miami-Ohio will tell a much more definitive story.
