A woman was robbed at gunpoint on Freesia Court near North Campus at about 11:00 p.m. Saturday, the Ann Arbor Police Department reported. AAPD Sergeant Matt Lige said police have made "no significant advances" in the case and have no suspects.

The woman described the thief as a black man of medium build and about six feet tall. She said he was about 25-30 years old, according to the incident report. She said he held a gun to her head and demanded her purse. She gave it to him and he fled east on Maiden Lane by foot.

The purse contained cash and other items valued at about $100, as well as the woman's identification. She was unharmed.
