Ever find yourself saying "this sucks" when registering for classes, choosing a major or even when dealing with a student group on campus?

The student government of the College of Literature, Science and the Arts wants to hear about your complaints.
LSA-SG launched a new program called "This Sucks" yesterday. The program provides a forum for students to make complaints and suggestions about issues they face on campus.
The most popular complaint received was how credit brackets are used to assign class registration appointments. Expansion of Entree Plus locations and an increase in Wolverine Access hours also came near the top of the list.
"We have the resources and responsibility to address the issues most important to students rather than pursue our personal agendas," LSA-SG President Yahkind said.
Students can e-mail their complaints and suggestions to thissucks@umich.edu. LSA-SG executives promise to respond to the complaints and forward them to the appropriate LSA-SG committees that will work on finding solutions.
"Our plan is to respond to every e-mail even if it's a personal complaint," said LSA-SG vice president Paige Butler. "We want to let them know what actions we're going to take."
Associate representative Mallika Kaushal said the program was started in order to reach out to students for feedback.
"There's a lot of stuff people want fixed but we never hear about it but through friends and our own personal experiences," she said.
LSA-SG received an overwhelming response during its trial runs last semester, Yahkind said.
Kaushal said they were initially worried about receiving a lot of complaints about residence halls, which they would not be able to address.
Butler said they received a handful of personal complaints that LSA-SG has no impact on such as homework assignments and readings.
"Every complaint that we've received, that isn't a personal issue like your history homework, is being worked on by at least one committee," Yahkind said.
