More University graduates have gone on to participate in Teach for America in the past four years than any other college in the country, according to a recent press release.
According to the release, in 2009, 103 University students were accepted into Teach for America — a program that allows recent college graduates to teach in low-income school districts across the nation — out of the 442 University students that applied.
59 University students have already accepted offers to join Teach for America this year, the press release stated.
