The University of Michigan Solar Car Team came in 3rd place in the World Solar Challenge, which finished tonight in Australia.
A team from Tokai University in Japan won the 1,877 mile race through the Australian Outback, with a team from Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands coming in second.
