Senior defenseman Summers signs entry-level NHL contract with Coyotes, headed to AHL affiliate

Michigan hockey senior defenseman Chris Summers signed an entry-level NHL contract with the Phoenix Coyotes today. According to general manager Don Maloney, Summers will head to Phoenix's American Hockey League affiliate in San Antonio.
This comes a day after Wolverine senior defenseman Steve Kampfer signed an entry-level NHL contract with the Boston Bruins.
