BY NICOLE ABER
University Health Service is set to release a new batch of H1N1 vaccines on Wednesday.
UHS will make 400 doses of FluMist H1N1 vaccine available on Wednesday from 8:15 a.m. to noon, according to an e-mail sent out earlier today by Robert Ernst, medical director of UHS.
Only individuals ages 10 to 24 and health care personnel ages 25 to 49 will be eligible to receive the available vaccines, according to the e-mail. Those with underlying medical conditions like heart disease, lung disease and asthma should not take FluMist.
The vaccine will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Appointments can be scheduled starting at 8 a.m. tomorrow.
