What's up, everyone? It's Nick Spar coming to you live from the Agganis Ice Arena in Boston. Here are the starting lineups for the Wolverines tonight.

Forwards

25 Wohlberg--29 Caporusso--3 Vaughan

12 Hagelin--19 Rust--10 Brown

14 Lebler--21 Treais--27 Czarnik

16 Winnett--11 Lynch-- 23 Glendening

Defense

4 Summers--34 Llewellyn

6 Burlon--5 Kampfer

7 Langlais--2 Pateryn

Goaltender

35 Hogan

31 Hunwick

15:00 It's even through the first five minutes of play. And the "Hogan! Sieve!" chants have begun.

12:30 Penalty on Treais. The Terriers have had the better end of the play for the last few minutes. Only lineup change for the Wolverines is Winnett on the 4th line left wing for Rohrkemper. Winnett has been battling a groin injury all week, so not so much a surprise that Scooter Vaughan is on the first line in favor of Winnett.

4:00 Sorry for the lack of posts, folks. Some internet trouble. But just a miute ago Zach Cohen scored for BU. 1-0, Terriers. Cohen put it in right on the edge of the crease from a pass from behind the net. First PP goal given up by Michigan, on a too-many-men call.

End of the first period: Terriers still up by a goal. Shots are 8-7 BU, who's getting a lot more quality scoring chances. BU defenders are keeping Wolverines frowards to the perimeter. I cam't say the same for the Michigan defenders thus far.

And the Wolverines need to stay out of the box. There were a couple of unnecessary penalties during that computer malfunction. PIM were 8-2, Michigan and I didn't see many bad calls, if any.

There's a decent amount of maize and blue out there, but for the most part just red and white. The student section (directly behind Hogan during the 1st and 3rd periods) is completely full.

The kiss cam on the big screen at center ice just began. A couple with Michigan shirts on drew a lot of boo's from the crowd. Hey, at least there are enough Michigan fans here for them to show up on the big screen.

What?! The crowd here is a little too nice. First the kiss cam, and now when the refs came on the ice, get this. No booing! So they boo the Mihigan couple and not the refs. It's gotta be a New England thing.

Michigan better come out fired up in this second period. A loss to the Nittany Lions and then the Terriers would mean a dismal day for Wolverines athletics.

Start of the second period: Just a note, first line center and assistant captain for the Terriers NIck Bonino is out for the game with a separated shoulder.

19:00 Caporusso bottled up and doubled-teamed when given a chance in the Terriers end.

17:37 What a stop by Hogan! The puck was sitting on the goal line waiting for anyone to tap it across but Hogan sprawled across the net to make the stop. On second look on the big screen (one thing I do like about this place that Yost doesn't have), it may have gone in.

The play is under review. The hundreds of other refs in the stands think it crossed the line before Hogan made the miraculous save. We'll see. The initial shot trickled off the post and sat there for a good second and a half.

It's ruled no goal after the review. Still a one-goal game.

Michigan penalty on Glendening. BU still has had more chances ever since the Treais penalty in the first, so could be a big moment in the game--whether it's an effective kill or a goal.

15:40 Shorthanded chance by Wohlberg denied by the BU goalie Millan with the glove. Wolhberg was all alone right on the doorstep.

14:32 Not much doing on the man-advantage for the Terriers. And the penalty is over. That's 1-5 for BU.

13:46 BU had a three-on-one chance, but it was poked away by Summers after a cross-ice pass.

Penalty on BU's Ryan Santana. Only the second PP of the game for the Wolverines.

11:30 Brown and Hagelin both had great chances on a rebound after a Summers shot. But the penlty is over. If the Wolverines can take anything away from it, they had a lot of pressure on Millan.

10:02 Another Terriers penalty. I couldn't see who it was, but a Michigan players was pushed in to Millan. Millan then barrelled over and dislodged the net. Great chance for Michigan to tie it up with a PP and the momentum from the last PP.

9:00 Another too-many-men call on Michigan. Pretty much inexcusable. what are the chances of a team winning a game with so many of those penalties. BU goes on the PP with just over a minute left.

8:00 Good blocker save by Hogan when the PP just started. He had to fight the puck through a lot of traffic and made the save as he was moving in the opposite direction.

7:01 Goal for BU. 2-0, Terriers. Another PP goal and another PP goal off of a too-many-men call. Wow.

Colby Cohen this time, as it's been the Cohen show (they aren't related). Cohen had it from the top of the left circle off a loose puck and a good pass by captain Kevin Shattenkirk. Cohen ripped a slapsot past Hogan glove side. No chance to stop that one. The team defense (and, of course, the penalty, left him out to dry there).

4:00 A couple of more good looks for BU, and then Michigan wit a chance. it was Caporusso, and by the looks of it he can't even buy a goal.

3:45 Colby Cohen--the same Cohen who just scored--is in the box. Michigan can't complain about its PP chances this period.

2:41 Michigan takes another penalty during another PP. Special teams mistakes have been really costly, and that's really the difference in the game. This time it's Brian Lebler for 2 minutes.

1:00There are some "BC sucks!" chants in the student section during this Terriers PP. The Terriers-Boston College Eagles rivalry is arguably the biggest in all of college hockey.

End of the second period: Power play for the Terriers is over. Still 2-0, and the shots are 18-14, overall. More stats to come.

The BU marching band is on the ice. At first, it looked like the BU marching band had only 15 members. But some more decided to show up. So make that 40 members.

I have to say, the drumline isn't half-bad. Nothing like a Football Saturday in the Big House, but it's still pretty good. And in all of my years of playing and watching hockey, I don't think I've ever seen any band on the ice.

At the same time, the student section here is weak compared to back in Yost. Yes, they have their couple of chants (and make every possible effort to mock BC) but the student section for Michigan is far more clever.

Shots for the period were 10-7 in favor of BU. The major storylines are the lack of offense from Caporusso and his first line, and the fact that the game's two goals are results of too-many-men penalties. If I were Red Berenson in that away locker room, I would be livid about that. Too-many-men calls are always easily avoided unless there is a lack of communication. There really isn't any excuse for being down a man because the wrong guy went on the ice. It's just knowing which player you take off.

I was just given a shot chart from the second period. That Colby Cohen goal couldn't have come from a more prime location on the ice. Just left of between the circles. He also had a clear lane to shoot. Even on the PK, you can't give any shooter an open lane to shoot from in the middle of the ice.

Okay, just about ready for the start of the third. Two-goal deficit for the struggling Michigan offense to overcome. And Michigan has been held scoreless since midway left in the 1st period against Niagara on Thursday. That's four ful periods

Start of the third period:Early penalty call on BU. Goalie interference.

19:00 Hagelin had an chance to stuff it in on the right post. Pad save Millan and it's cleared the length of the ice.

18:06 Langlais shot on goal, and the rebound almost put home by Czarnik. Now they just can't finish.

17:45 After a giveaway and a missed shorthanded opportunity by BU, there's a Wolverine down in the corner for BU. It looks like Wohlberg. He got up on his own power. More updates to come.

Now it's a 5-on-3 for Michigan, and the Terrier who hit BU is in the box for a 5-minute major.

16:46 The 5-on-3 is over, and now there's a Michigan major penalty on a hit in the very same corner. The penalty is on Brown. And now Brown's been tossed! As Brown skates off the ice to the locker room, the Terrier bid their farewell.

Oh, how the tables have turned. Now it looks to be 4-on-4 after a minute ago it was a 5-on-3. And there' a ten-minute misconduct on Kampfer for shooting the puck after the whistle was blown.

16:38 Now Zach Cohen is in the box for charging. It's getting a little chippy, evidenced by the two majors handed out in the last few minutes. But the refs are getting a littl too involved in this one. Let them hit; it's not squirt hockey.

16:00 4-on-3 for Michigan. Some quality shots, all saves by Millan. Shots are 5-1, Wolverines this period.

14:40 Charging penalty on Z. Cohen over. Michigan doesn't capitalize on yet another PP, something Berenson said he wanted to see after the win against Niagara. Now it's 4-on-4 again until the BU major expires. Then there' about a minute for BU with a man up. Lebler served the Brown major.

13:04 Strong chance for Michigan. And just to make clear, no Brown for the remainder of the game, and no Kampfer after the 10-minute misconduct for shooting the puck after the whistle.

12:00 Pretty passing for BU down low in the slot and around the net on the PP, but no goals. Langlais broke up the play. Finally for the first time in a long time, we have some 5-on5 hockey.

11:00 BU had a chance to essentually put the game out of reach, but the shot went over the net and into the netting above he glass.

9:56 Michigan scores. Czarnik drove down on the left wing and put one past Millan. Unless Wohlberg tipped it as he cut to the net, that one's on the BU goalie. 2-1, Terriers.

9:00 Summers on the assist. Apparently Wohlberg didn't deflect it, so that's a doft goal for Millan. There was no "Ugly Parents" chant like we get in the friendly confines of Yost. But it's a new game, just one goal separting the two teams. The pace of play has quickened just a bit since the Czarnik goal.

5:30 Another Michigan goal! Tied, 2-2 Matt Rust cut to the middle on the left wing and slipped it by Millan on the backhand. Impressive speed to the net and shot over Millan's glove. You can't blame that one on Millan. Breakdown of Terriers defense on the rush.

Did I say it was a new game a few minutes ago? Now it's completely shifted. All the play is in BU's end, and it looks like Michigan was the team that got a spark from the bunch of penalties earlier in the period.

4:30 Some guy in the student section just took his shirt off, started high-fiving people and prancing around like an idiot. The big screen caught him. He had a really hair chest and back, and the BU student section reacted like it's a home-game-crunch-time tradition. Umm...kind of gross, if you ask me. But it looks like fellow Michigan Daily writer Mike Florek and I are the only ones in the arena that didn't appreciate it.

4:00 Alright, enough about middle-aged shirtless men. Back to the game, the ice is titled in the Wolverines' favor still.

2:30 BU goal. Mishanded puck by Hogan behind the net led to a wrap-around by Joe Pereira. As you could imagine, it's louder in here than it's been all night. 3-2, Terriers.

1:28 Obviously, Michigan doesn't have a whole lot of time to respind. The goal came after a long period of Michigan domincance following the Brown ejection.

End of the game Michigan got nothing going when Hogan was pulled in the final minute. 3-2, Terriers.

Final shots: 35-22, Michigan
