LIVE BLOG RECAP: Michigan vs. Purdue
BY TIM ROHAN
A week ago, the Michigan football team was involved in what looked more like a basketball game than tackle football. The Wolverines stopped Illinois in the third overtime to hold on to a 67-65 win, and become bowl eligible for the first time under Michigan coach Rich Rodriguez.
The players rallied around Rodriguez's creed that every win from there on out gets Michigan to a better bowl game. The Wolverines first shot is this afternoon in West Lafayette.
