Anaheim will recieve a fourth round pick in either the 2010 or 2011 entry draft. Kampfer was Anaheim's fourth round pick in the 2007 draft. Kampfer will likely spend the beginning of next season with Boston's AHL affiliate Providence Bruins.

The Jackson native is the Wolverines' leading scoring defenseman, registering a two goals and 15 assists. But he hasn't recorded a point since February 12 against Nebraska-Omaha, where he had a goal and an assist.
