A graphic to highlight some of our premier content

We’re premiering a new graphic in the top right story of today’s paper designed by Daily Managing Design Editor Sarah Squire, featuring a drawing of the Fleming Administration building that we plan to attach to every story written by Daily News Editor Kyle Swanson.
As part of his job covering the University’s administration Swanson writes many of our most important stories, often netting exclusives with University administrators and reporting on the latest developments coming out of Fleming.
Swanson’s work is part of a push the Daily has been making in the past few years to offer thorough and nuanced coverage of the University’s administration that’s only possible with editors like Swanson who know the ins and outs of campus’s most important issues.
The new graphic will serve as a marker for those truly important stories — the ones that affect everyone on campus from professors to students to University President Mary Sue Coleman.
