George Clooney spotted location-scouting at 'U'
BY ANDREW LAPIN
Various students reported sightings of Oscar-winning actor-director George Clooney at the Walgreen Drama Center today. Reportedly he is scouting locations for his next film, "The Ides of March," a political drama based on the play by Beau Willimon, which he will both direct and star in. Yesterday, Clooney was touring Grand Rapids for the same purpose, reports MLive.com, which also reported that he has already visited Cincinnati and Detroit.
Whether Clooney will pick the 'U' as a filming location for the project — which will also co-star Evan Rachel Wood ("Across the Universe"), Ryan Gosling ("Half Nelson") and Philip Seymour Hoffman ("Jack Goes Boating") — is currently up in the air. And with that, today's bad-puns quota has been met.
