Redshirt junior David Moosman and redshirt freshman David Molk are competing to be the starting center, but there’s enough flexibility on the offensive line’s interior that this may not end up a true race.

Molk and Moosman can play guard, but Rodriguez said Moosman is better suited for that position. Neither redshirt juniors Corey Zirbel nor Tim McAvoy, the presumed starting guards, are established. So Molk and Moosman definitely could see snaps at guard.
