Free Screening Alert: 'Paul'

BY ANKUR SOHONI

Who doesn’t love aliens? And better yet, who doesn’t love CGI aliens that speak English? No one, that’s who. So if you’re free tonight, be sure to get over to the Natural Science Auditorium to see an advanced screening of “Paul” hosted by M-Flicks.

The film finds the writer-actor Brits behind “Shaun of the Dead” and “Hot Fuzz” – Simon Pegg and Nick Frost – uniting with “Superbad” director Greg Mottola in another comedy. In the heartland of the U.S., Graeme (Pegg) and Clive (Frost) are two alien-fanatic tourists that stumble upon CGI extra terrestrial Paul (voiced by Seth Rogen, “The Green Hornet”), a recent escapee from Area 51. He befriends the tourists and takes them for a wild road trip while the government is hot on their tail trying to retrieve him. As the dangers mount, the men and the alien must band together to get Paul back to where he belongs.

So if you want to see the British invasion of the alien comedy, print out a pass on www.mflicks.com for the screening at Kraus Natural Science Auditorium tonight at 8 p.m.
